Description

The Garmin nüvi® 1490TV sat nav is a multifunction version of the 1490: a cutting-edge pan-European navigator with DVB-T digital terrestrial television and radio. An in-built digital tuner gives you access to Freeview digital TV and radio content from across Europe, including more than 50 TV channels and 24 radio stations in the U.K.

To make the European dimension even stronger, the Garmin nüvi® 1490TV sat nav has European maps, pan-European traffic alerts and pan-European premium traffic avoidance functionality. It also has the Lane Assist with Junction View device which shows the lane to get into before arriving at the next junction. The ecoRoute™ fuel saver feature finds the most fuel-efficient route and helps track fuel use. Bluetooth® wireless technology enables hands-free calls. Optional downloads include cityXplorer™ mapping to plan the whole journey with pedestrian and public transport routes, and Garmin’s free VoiceStudio™ software to record a new voice for your sat-nav.
